Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas
Fellowship Program
The Steadman Hawkins Fellowship Program is one of the most coveted learning experiences among research-focused orthopaedic surgeons. These fellowships provide surgeons the opportunity to refine their skills and learn new techniques, while conducting research with others who share their unique interest in staying up to date on the most recent innovations.
Our programs are led by Dr. Richard J. Hawkins, who relocated to South Carolina after working for 17 years in Vail, Colorado with Dr. Richard J Steadman. Dr. Hawkins has trained more than 150 fellows throughout his career. He continues to be a team physician for the Denver Broncos and the Colorado Rockies.
Our Orthopaedic Surgery/Sports Medicine and Primary Care programs are accredited by the ACGME.
