Dr. Jay Rodrigo, a total joint specialist in knee and hip anthroplasty, is a member of the American
Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the Knee Society, as well as the Orthopedic Research Society.
He is a recipient of the Nicolas Audrey Research Award for his work in cartilage repair. Formerly a Full
Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of California School of Medicine for thirty years,
Dr. Rodrigo served as the Team Physician for the Sacramento Kings and the Sacramento River Cats. He has special expertise in
cartilage grafting techniques, as well as osteotomies. He also has significant experience in revision total hip and total knee
replacements.
